I love this. I have a neurotic need for that Independence and any threat to it has always been my number one challenge in life. I know it's with your writing partner, but there is no better description of working in a *marriage* as your line about...........Showing up. Again and again. Through the boredom, the frustration, the misfires and misunderstandings. WELL DONE
